Shapermint is a reputable brand of women's undergarments/shapewear that helps curvy women look slimmer, tuck in their tummy, and enhance the curves of their bodies. They carry a bunch of different lines and brands of its products. Their main goal is to help women feel confident in their own skin and love their body and the way they look. Shapermint is also a more affordable option in comparison to brands like Honeylove, Spanx, Miraclesuit, or Skims. On the other hand the difference between Shapermint and shaperwear carried in Target or Walmart is the quality and effectiveness of the products. You can buy shapewear brands like Maidenform or in stores at Target, Kohls, JCPenny or Walmart but a lot of times when they are compared to Shapermint or the higher end products and customers have negative reveiws and issues with the products. It is worth spending a little more money to get better quality products that work and last a long time.

What Styles Of Shapewear Are There?
Shorts/Boyshorts
Shapermint comes in a few styles of shorts. The most popular Shapermint shorts are the Empetua™ All Day Every Day High-Waisted Shaper Shorts.
Each style of shorts has a different fit or purpose. Some of the shapewear shorts are meant to help your thighs look slimmer and most of the Shapermint shorts are high waisted to help tuck in the tummy.
There are also butt lifter boyshorts, sheer sexy boyshorts, and slimming shorts with lace details. The style you get depends on the fit that you desire as some types are tighter and more form-fitting than others.
Does It Stay Up?
Like other shapewear, Shapermint shapewear is meant to be tighter to your body and more form-fitting. Sometimes this causes undergarments to roll and bunch up. There are mixed reciews as to if the Shapermint rolls, some people have a problem with it and some people don't. For me, the Shapermint only rolled a little bit but didn't come down a whole lot. The overall feel of the shapewear was much lighter than other brands I've tried like Spanx or cheap shapewear from TJ Maxx or Marshalls.
I think it also depends on your body if the shapermint shapewear stays up or not and you don't know until you try.
Can I wear Shpaermint when pregnant?
It is always best to consult your doctor with any questions, but it is not recommended to wear Shapermint products or any shapewear during pregnancy because the compression could cause harm to your baby.
Camis/Tanks
Shapermint offers camisoles and tanks with think or thicker straps to avoid them falling down. A camisole is great for everyday wear underneath sweaters, t-shirts and more to always look thinner. They aren't too form fitting so they are a comfortable every day option.
Underwear
There are low, mid and high rise panties in various colors as well as shaping boyshorts, and thongs as well. If you wear shapermint underwear, you shouldn't have to wear other layers of shapewear over top.
Leggings
Shapermint has many styles and colors of the leggings for activewear to wear when lounging or working out for a little bit more of a slimming compression look. Although I do love the Spanx faux leather leggings, Shapermint has a pair of perfect control faux-leather leggings too that are pretty comparable. They are a great way to dress up leggings so they aren't just for lounging around the house.
Bras
To get rid of back bulge and to help slim the area around your bra, Shapermint sells Empetua™️ All Day Comfort Shaper Bras in sizes XS-3XL. They come in 3 colors: black, white and tan. These bras get really good reviews in general and everyone raves about them because they have no wires. These bras give good support and would be comfortable to wear because of no underwires. I have one of the black shapermint bodysuits and I absolutely love it. You don't have to worry about the bodysuits falling down because of the wide, thick straps that don't fall down on my shoulders, they are adjustable and they don't dig in either. My full bodysuit gets worn all the time, with dresses, jeans and it helps me to have an overall thinner appearance.
Pantyhose
Shapermint also makes shapewear tights, pantyhose or hoisery. Whatever you want to call it.
Swimwear
In the summer, Shapermint has amazing bathing suits and swimwear that helps to slim you down and make you feel better about wearing your swimsuit to the pool or beach. They have a pair of high waisted tummy control bikini bottoms and they had a bunch of one piece suits in a bunch of colors and styles. I'm so glad they came out with this new line because it'll help me and other women to feel more confident. That is in fact a huge part of their "company motto", helping women to feel comfortable in their own skin just the way they are.

How Do I Wash & Take Care Of My Products?
You can definitely wash your shapermint shaperwear but to ensure you get the most wear and don't damage your articles of clothing, only wash them on the gentle cycle on your washing machine. It is even better if you use a mesh wash bag to make sure your shaperwear doesn't get caught on or damaged by your other clothes in the washer. Do not wash your shpapermint with other bras that have clasps and hooks that could catch the materials.
In addition to washing on a gentle washing cycle, never put your shapermint items in the dryer. Hang them or lay them flat to dry to make sure your items last the longest and don't effect the clothing's elastic bands and stretch them out.

Shapermint gets mixed reviews from users on Amazon and even Reddit. Most reviews though are found on the shapermint website on their reviews page which you can see here.
There are some 1-3 star shapermint reviews but most are 4 or 5 and people seem to love the brand. After trying many types of shapewear, I've found that it works for me. Shapermint isn't too inexpensive and surprisingly, it lasts long. I will definitely be purchasing another style, especially for wedding or events I have coming up.

Is Shapermint really good?
Shapermint products are legit. All of the shapewear products I've tried have been different, but Shapermint is the best. I love them because they really do compare to other more popular shape wear brands, but for a fraction of the cost.
Even though they get mixed reviews, you never know if you'll like a product until you try it and I'm so glad I did. The best part about this company is they stand behind their products and do whatever they can to make their customers feel good and happy with their purchase and the results they get from wearing the shapewear.
