How To Get The Best False Eyelashes: Magnetic Eyeliner & Magnetic Eyelashes

If you love the look of false lashes or lash extensions but don’t want to struggle with glue and getting them to stick, you HAVE to try magnetic eyeliner and magnetic eyelashes. There are a few types of magnetic eyelashes. After reading many reviews and testing out different kinds and brands for myself, the ones I’ve found to work the best are the ones you apply with magnetic eyeliner. They also have top and bottom magnetic lashes that go on top and bottom of your top eyelashes and stick together without eyeliner, like the Kiss Magnetic Eyelashes at Ulta, but those are so much more difficult to apply.

Magnetic Eyeliner Eyelashes

You can buy magnetic eye liner and eyelashes from a number of places including CVS, Target, Walmart, Ulta and even Amazon. I’ve gotten a few different brands like Arishine, Ardell, and Eylure. Most brands offer kits with various lengths and volumes. For more natural looking lashes you can apply the thinner and shorter fake lashes. My favorites are the Arishine Magnetic Eyeliner and Magnetic Eyelash Kit, Elure Pro Magnetic Lashes from Amazon, or Target, and The Lash Liner System.

Where to Buy Magnetic Eyeliner & Lashes?

Amazon & Drug/Grocery Stores

I’ve purchased magnetic eyeliner and eyelashes at CVS, Amazon, and Target. You can also buy them at places like Sephora, Ulta, Walgreens, and Walmart. Amazon offers free 2 day shipping with Prime so it’s fast and easy to order. Most of the time, the prices are more affordable than some of the major retailers or brands out there.

Arishine Magnetic Eyeliner & Eyelash Kit

The Arishine ones on Amazon have 2 different options – a 3 pack and a 5 pack that each come with an applicator and magnetic liquid eyeliner. Sometimes Amazon runs limited time deals or promos on the multipack kits. But you can buy the Arishine magnetic eyelashes and eyeliner on their website arishinebeauty.com too.

On the Arishine beauty website, they sell more styles of lashes than on Amazon and often times are more affordable and cost less money. They also offer a rewards program where you can earn 5,000 points for celebrating your birthday, 1,000 points for liking on social media and for every $1 you spend you get 100 points. For every 1,000 points, you can get at least $1 off your order and for 5,000 points you can get free shipping.

The arishine magnetic liner and lashes are some of the top rated magnetic eyelash products. They get a lot really great reviews and people love them. I bought these to try for my sister’s wedding and absolutely loved them. They stayed on all night. There are 5 different volumes and lengths in this pack. I use them for everyday wear and for special occasions and events. I wore them with my glasses on for my sister’s wedding but wore a longer pair with my contacts for a formal event I went to. It just depends on what you are comfortable with.

Magnetic Eyeliner and Magnetic Eyelashes: Everything You Need To Know

The lashes are more expensive than some of the others but are definitely worth it. LashLiner products were the first magnetic eyeliner in the world.

On their website, you can buy refills of the magnetic eyeliner, eyelashes or you can buy systems that include both the eyeliner and eyelashes. The Lash Liner lashes are cruelty free, latex free, gluten free, and vegan so you don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals. Lashliner also uses FDA approved ingredients only.

Unlike most magnetic liners, LashLiner offers a few different color options of eye liner: Black, Dark Brown, and Gray.

They offer 7 different types of lashes and all are named after cities. The different styles are named New York, Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Nashville styles.

Tori Belle Cosmetics

In June of 2019 LashLiner opened a sister company called Tori Belle Cosmetics where they also sell magnetic eyelashes and beauty/cosmetic products. Tori Belle products must be purchased through independent affiliates that sign up to sell their products and can not be purchased elsewhere in retail stores or online. The quality of the products is the same as LashLiner but the company is all about helping others selling products independently to help and support themselves.

MoxieLash

MoxieLash sells a few products that other companies don’t. Not only do they have liquid eyeliner, but they also have gel eyeliner that can be applied with a brush as well. They also offer more colors like purple, blue, burgundy, and peacock instead of the typical black, brown and gray colors some other brands sell.

Moxie Lash has a mini magnetic eyeliner that is good on-the-go to put in your purse or when you travel.

You can buy MoxieLash products on Amazon or from their website.

Benefits of Magnetic Eyeliner & Eyelashes

No extra steps. A lot of times when you are doing your makeup, most of the time you already are applying eyeliner as a part of your look so there aren’t any extra steps.

Easy to apply. The eyeliner needs multiple coats painted on (about 2-3) to ensure the eyelashes stick for as long as you wear them but you can always apply more if need be.

No glue needed. Messing with eyelash glue can be sticky and messy, and just plain annoying. With magnetic eye liner and eyelashes, you don’t need any glue.

Reusable. The eyelashes can be used multiple times. You can get lots of wear out of them if you take care of them properly. Depending on the brand and how you care for them you can get 5-30 uses out of a pair.

Comfortable. When you apply the liner and lashes correctly, you can’t even tell they’re there. They don’t poke your eye or make it uncomfortable to blink.

Mix & Match. If you have a magnetic eyeliner, it can be used with magnetic eyelashes or on its own. You can also use any magnetic eyeliner brand with another brand of magnetic eyelashes. Although, most brands recommend that you use both their own lashes and eyeliner.

Is Magnetic Eyeliner Safe?

Many people have concerns and question if magnetic eyeliner works and if it’s safe.

To answer that question. Yes. As long as nothing goes in your eye, they are not dangerous or toxic and are 100% safe for everyday use. They will not disrupt your vision or eye function. Magnetic lashes and liner will also do no damage to your natural eyelashes. The liner does not go on your lashes like mascara, just on your eyelids.

The Only Dangers of Magnetic Eye Lashes & Liner

The only time you should not wear your magnetic lashes and eyeliner is in an MRI and while being scanned by other medical equipment. Doing so could result in skin damage, burns or other injuries.

What To Do If You Get Magnetic Eyeliner In Your Eye?

If you accidentally get magnetic eyeliner in your eyes, use eyewash to clean out your eyes. You can also clean your eyes out with water or eye drops to prevent them from being irritated.

How To Apply Magnetic Eyeliner & Magnetic Eyelashes

  1. Apply 1 thick coat of eyeliner to eyelash line and let dry (will be a little sticky and takes about 30 seconds)
  2. Repeat Step 1 one-two more times
  3. Put a thin layer of mascara on your natural eyelashes (optional)
  4. Start in the inner corner of your eye, closest to your nose and let the magnetics on the lash to attach to your eyeliner
  5. Gently press to attach the rest of the eyelash to your eyelash line to set it down in the correct place

I used to be bad at applying liquid eyeliner but with practice, it gets easier. So practice, practice, practice until you have the process down. If you still need help, try watching some YouTube videos or tutorials.

How Do I Remove Magnetic Lashes & Liner?

To remove your lashes, carefully peel off your lashes from your eyelid. Don’t peel too hard or they could irritate your eyes. To remove the eyeliner you will need a makeup remover. First, wash your face with a facial cleanser. I use The Body Shop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter or their Silky Cleansing Makeup Remover Oil. Then wipe your eyelids with makeup remover. Be careful not to get your makeup remover in your eyes.

The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil is great because it’s a cleanser and makeup remover so you can use just that one product. If you don’t use a makeup remover facial cleanser the makeup remover I recommend is the Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. You can even use makeup remover wipes.

How Do I Take Care Of My Magnetic Eyelashes?

To get maximum wear out of your eyelashes you want to take good care of them. If you get the eyeliner on the magnets attached to the lashes you can use a q-tip and rubbing alcohol to clean them. Make sure you only get the rubbing alcohol on the magnets only, not the lash strip. If your eyeliner comes off on the lash magnets, next time you apply them, make sure the liner is dry before applying your lashes.

Do not wear your magnetic eyelashes to shower or swim. The liner is waterproof but submerging your lashes in water could damage them.
